Big Brother 13 Live Eviction Show: 3 Things I want to see…

Been a quiet few days around these parts. Other than Jeff having diarrhea of the mouth again and some nice camel toe action on the Live Feeds, it has been a typical week 1 in the Big Brother 13 house.

I love the CBS live eviction show, so I will be tweeting live during the show, make sure you follow me @ihatebigbrother . The first Big Brother 13 Live Eviction show starts 9PM ET/PT and here are some things I am happen on tonight’s show:

1. Keith going home. I am tired of his constant incoherent rambling. This guys ego is so big, but he has played so horribly and has earned his ticket home over Porsche. Hey Keith, how did that angels thing work out for you? Oh, and thanks for the ass shot.

2. No Awkward Julie Shoutouts. Yeah right, like there is a chance in hell of this. The houseguests act like they have seen Santa Claus when Julie comes on the screen during the live show. I am also sure one of the guys will try to call her some smooth nickname as well. Ugh.

3. A Newbie HOH. I made a prediction on Twitter ( @ihatebigbrother ) this morning that Jeff would win HOH. We saw the demo mini-golf game in the backyard, and most likely this will be part of the competition, and Jeff was good. With that being said, I hope I am wrong. If a retread wins HOH, it really will set them up to tear through Big Brother 13 house. We don’t want that. We crave the drama that will come along with a newbie being in charge. How fun will it be to watch Branchel squirm after their power trip this week?

Big Brother 13 Update: Houseguests Get Golf Game, Branchel Fight Again

Rachel and Brendon Fight, Again

Big Brother 13 Jeff’s Homophobic Rant. Again?

First – Let’s begin with a word for word transcription of the incident.

Kalia tells the HGs that J.K Rowling announced that the character of Dumbledore from Harry Potter was written to be gay.

Jeff: That would be perverted.
Kalia: …have a gay character for kids to understand homosexuality…
Jeff: How was he meant to be gay? He doesn’t have any gay tendencies.
Kalia:…well maybe that’s the whole point, to teach you that…
Jeff: Hey Harry! Let me feel your balls. (Laughs)
Kalia: …for people like you who think that stereotypes around gay people!
Jeff: What do you mean “stereotypes around gay people?!?” He’s in a school with little kids! You don’t wanna make that guy gay!
Kalia: WHAT?!?!? WHY?!?!
Jeff: What do you mean why?
Kalia: Gay men can’t work with little kids?
Jeff: Um..I don’t think it’s very..I don’t think it’s the right thing to have a little kid’s book and have the headmaster that you’re locked away with in a magical land be gay. I don’t think that’s the write kind of writing to do.
Kalia: I don’t see why not.
Jeff: I can see your PC view of why not. But I don’t think it’s the right thing to do. (Kalia is still confused) OK listen. You know exactly what I’m saying Ok, don’t make it seem like you’re doing the right thing by saying that it’s not. You’re gonna let a storybook of where they go away to fantasy camp and its all little kids…without their parents and the guy is gay?
Kalia: …just because he’s gay doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with him…
Jeff: Get the fuck outta here.

That’s pretty much the gist of what most are calling a homophobic rant. Plenty of former Big Brother HGs took to twitter to voice their opinions:

@marqueemarc Eh… Homophobia & racist remarks always turn up during #BB season. It amazes me that some HGs seem to get away w/it & which ones do. M*

…and quite a few others. The incident sparked heavy controversy on twitter and message boards. Some say this is a flat out homophobic rant (like me) while others are saying he was simply disagreeing with the idea of a character in a kid’s book being homosexual (which I think is equally homophobic)….

As for my take on it. This whole thing saddens me, I really like Jeff and always thought he had a good heart. I guess I still do, he is just ignorant on this issue. I hope he learns and grows from this. But hey, at least he is still nice to look at.
